Fall/Winter 2012-2013 clothes: Brocade!

Something old, something new...
Get your mother's old clothes out of the closet and find them brocade fabrics!I have found 2 tops and when I change their size and shape they will be perfect!
Inspired by royalty the Victorian patterns are this winter's item! We have seen it in Dolce & GabbanaSalvatore Ferragamo, Christian Dior, Mulberry and more.

Can be found at Zara in trousers, neckerchief , tops and skirt! Favourite picks: the trousers, neckerchief and skirt! (I never was a big fan of brocade but these pieces are not so outrageous and can each be used to bring up the style of a simple outfit)

Also at Mango as a suit set and at Blanco as a dress, trousers, bag. From them I love the most the bag and the dress. The dress as we see it in the picture makes a perfect rock-chic elegant outfit for a special occasion  while the bag can give a tone of fresh air to your little black dress.

While browsing the internet searching for more I found 2 items that stood out and I fell in love with! The first is this jacket which is really expensive  :( . Second is this clutch! Couldn't find it in the store though.

Truth is brocade is not an easy pattern to pull of. It is an expensive-looking style. The pieces I picked today are the ones that are easy to wear without being too much. Keep in mind that brocade patterned items are to be worn separately unless you are going for an expensive elegant look or are part of a suit.
