Sailor Moon x ColourPop thoughts

There goes my money again. I mean it's Sailor Moon, it's my childhood, how could I not? I know that there are a lot of Sailor Moon items on YesStyle but they are inexplicably expensive and sub-par quality. I like their packaging more than ColourPop's but still. Another reason I shouldn't want this collection is that I already have dupes in my palettes for many of the eyeshadows included but damn. Let's start from the beginning though.
Colourpop announced an upcoming collection for Sailor Moon, the hype was real. All the millennial geeks want this, how could I not? And then we got the reveal. One palette (12 shades that include a pressed glitter $20 ), two powder blushes ($12 each), two Ultra Glossy Lip glosses and two Ultra Blotted Liquid Lipsticks ( Lip Bundle $15 / individual $8) and two Body Glitters ($9 each). The collection arrives February 20th at 10AM PST.

My face when I saw them:

Temptalia, my go-to for reviews and swatches, is always the guide I look at in order to decide if I am getting new makeup or not. So obviously I checked what she had to say about this collection, she didn't disappoint. The only problem is her review is a positive one and I wanted excuses not to get any more makeup, but being a sailor moon collection doesn't help. Am I getting it? Yes! Of course?! OBVIOUSLY?! But not everything, I know I won't be using any of the lip products. I intend to buy the palette (Pretty Guardian), the peachy blush (Cat's eye) and the purple glitter (Moon Prism Power). The palette is quintessential Sailor Moon. Even though I would have liked a more extensive collection, that included the other sailors as well, this is so Usagi in every sense and manner. I would love to see more Sailors in the future, although I highly doubt it, as ColourPop has already so many capsule palettes that have all the colours the Sailors collections might include.
