The festive season is an exciting time for most people (no, it's not over yet, there is Valentine's), but for those of us who’ve caught the Disney/animation bug, it’s the perfect time to indulge in our addiction. If you have a Disney/animation fan in your life and you’re struggling to think of the perfect gift then I’m here to rescue you!

Special Anniversary/Special Edition DVDs

I know we all love to watch movies online now but for me, there is nothing more nostalgic than opening the DVD box on one of my Disney classics. Some of the special anniversary editions contain the making of, something no die-hard Disney fan wants to miss. For example, the special edition of Snow White has interviews with some of the Nine Old Men. You’ll see them talk about the production and they show flip through of the original artwork from the movie. It’s incredible.

Art Books from their Favourite Animated Classic

If you know that your friend/relative has a favourite Disney movie then I’d recommend getting them the art book for that movie. The art book will explain the entire production of the animated feature; from early concept work to the finished product. It’s really interesting to see the entire process. You’ll be surprised at how much work goes into the production of each scene before it’s finalised.

A Stop Motion Animation Kit

If you love animation that much then why not give it a go yourself! Most people have some form of camera and computer, with a stop-motion kit you’ll have all you need to create your own animated short. When I studied animation in college, one of our assignments was to create a stop-motion short. It was so much fun. I’ve always been a fan of stop-motion movies such as Wallace and Gromit and Coraline so getting to create my own was a dream come true.

Disney Pyjamas

I honestly don’t know a single Disney fan that doesn’t love pyjamas. So why not get them some Disney pyjamas or loungewear. They are usually available from retail stores and chain clothing shops, which means they are usually an affordable gift. You can often get comfy socks and slippers to match

Disney Homeware

Even if you’ve bought every type of Disney paraphernalia imaginable, chances are you or your friend will have room for just one more Disney mug or bowl. They come in all shapes and sizes with characters from any of your favourite classics.

Collectable Figurines

If you don’t have any Disney figurines then the holiday season is the perfect time to start your collection. Many designers have created collections for Disney but my favourite by far is the Jim Shore collection. The larger pieces can be quite expensive but the smaller ones with one single figure are very affordable and look great on any shelf or display case.

That’s it! I hope this guide has given you some inspiration, whether it’s Valentine's gift or just a treat for yourself! Thanks to Anna for having me on her blog.

As a gamer I love any presents that are gaming related, often people ask what they should get me for Christmas or my birthday as they aren't into gaming or tech and would rather get me something I like, I've put together 8 gifts that even I would love, not every gamer is the same so I have chosen a variety of things.

1. D is for destiny

I love Destiny and although the games are touch and go with others the merch for Destiny is so cool and this book is one of them. The reason I like this book so much is that it doesn't have just one kind of artwork in it, it has a variety. Although this is listed as a kids A-Z book a lot of Destiny fans will appreciate the fact that Bungie writers and artists put this book together, it's the perfect gift for a Destiny lovers collection, you can buy the hardback copy for £11.34.

2. Aloy pop vinyl

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most successful games of this year, not only is it beautiful but it has a wonderful story and the gameplay is fun. I've been waiting for this pop vinyl to come out for a few months now and it's top of my Christmas list, this pop vinyl is the hunter and archer Aloy. I initially thought that the Pop Vinyl for Horizon Zero Dawn would be a lot more money because of how popular the game is but it's around £10 which is cheap for a pop Vinyl.

3. BB8 Lego Figurine

Hands up if you love both Lego and Starwars (me!!) at the price of £84.99 you can make your very own lego BB8, it comes with over 1,100 pieces so may keep you busy for a bit the BB8 itself doesn't roll I think it's more for display purposes but it's still a really cool Star Wars lovers gift this Christmas.

4. Game boy colour phone case

Pokemon seems to have come back with a big bang, everywhere I look these days I see a Pokemon related product but I ain't mad about it! My partner loves the Pokemon games and the old school Game boy colour so I kind of took inspiration from him for this gift, from the Phone Defenders on Etsy, they have a list of phones which you can choose from for their phone cases and at £5.45 it's a perfect gift for someone on a tight budget.

5. 3DS Case

I own a 3DS and I don't have a case for it, I have been meaning to get one for ages but I never got around to getting one, within this case you are able to hold up to 6 games on the inside f the top lid and fit your 3DS on the bottom half. The case is retro so for those retro players who own a 3DS, they will be more than happy with one of these. This is another affordable present at only £14.99, I know how hard Christmas can be when you are on a tight budget.

6. Sims 4

I have been waiting for ages for this game to come out and by ages I mean years, my sister owns the PC version of this game and is forever showing me all the creative things she does on it. I actually got my copy as an early Christmas present from my partner James and plan on doing a review on my blog on it once I've played it a bit more. As a Sims over myself, I opted for this on PS4 as I play the PS4 more than anything and for those Sim lovers who don't own a PC they can now play it on Xbox One or PS4 instead.

7. Steam controller

I recently started using my Steam account again and I hate using a keyboard to game, I don't care if that makes me any less of a gamer in peoples eyes I just prefer to use a controller, right now I have my PS4 controller hooked up to use steam but I would love to get my hands on a steam official controller by valve, it looks much more comfortable and I like the button layout, it's £59.99 so the typical price a console controller usually is.

8. Venom Xbox One docking station

I use two controllers for my PS4 and whilst I use one the other is either on charge or sits on it's charging stand, If I owned an Xbox One I would definitely choose the Venom Xbox One docking station, a few of my friends have recommended this charger due to the fact that it's not only affordable at £15.99 but there is no messing about trying to put it in that charging stand you just place it on top and it charges and comes with two spare battery packs for your Xbox One controllers.

What to get for: The Gamer

by on 13:31
As a gamer I love any presents that are gaming related, often people ask what they should get me for Christmas or my birthday as they aren&...
Hello beautiful people! It is almost the holidays and I'm sure all of you are running around trying to figure out what to get for your loved ones! I, for sure, have NO idea and since I absolutely suck at gifts most of the time, I asked for help. Three awesome bloggers I admire will be sharing their favourite gifts to get to people with similar interests. Boyfriends and girlfriends start taking notes we're here to save you (and me)!

  • Gamers: What do you get for those of us who like games? Here to answer this question is Elle.
Hey, I'm Elle I've been blogging for nearly 6 years now at "ElleXMay" and enjoy writing about everything from my life to tech and gaming, I love photography, reading and of course playing games and love to create my own art. Gaming has opened my eyes to a lot of things such as how restricting it can be for disabled gamers and how a change in the gaming world needs to happen so everyone can enjoy gaming, I hope to see some kind of change in the coming years but until then I want to try to use my platform to talk more about disability and gaming.

  •  Fashion Icons: Shay's killer style and upfront attitude made her the first that came to mind to help with this question.
Hey all, I'm Shay blogger at "Dear Humans With Love". I like to call it a relatable lifestyle blog, over there I can be found moaning about relationships, given unsolicited advice, showing off my outfits and other London life type stuff. I've been blogging for over a year now and have had a passion for personal style ever since my mum let me dress myself.

  • The movie/series buff. You can spot us from the dark circles because of "one more episode/movie".And Amanda is the girl to ask if you are iffy about a movie or if you don't know what to get to another fan.
My name is Amanda and I blog over at "Curly Sue Review". I cover lifestyle and chronic illness topics. I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and my aim is to provide helpful posts so people don’t feel alone as they journey through diagnosis and treatment. I am a huge movie and animation fan so I’m eager to help you with a gift guide for all the Disney fans in your life.
Which article are you most excited to read? Is there any person in your life you don't know what to get to? If you are already finished with your shopping, what did you get for your loved ones?

I sort of ended up hating myself. I know, self love, self acceptance and all that, but I can't always be happy and excited and feel good about myself. We all have bad days when nothing fits right or we hate one little detail only we notice about us. Well I had a lot of those days, and they continued for a while. I gained some weight and that is what started it. I gained a lot last summer but I managed to lose most of that, only 2kg left.2kg over my base weight when I usually fluctuate around 58-62, so my base is 60Kg. But suddenly I was 62kg and I was fluctuating towards 64 and I hated it!!!So what do you do when the bad days don't stop? I got up, had to slap myself once or twice and thought about changing myself and my habits. I like food, a lot.I am not willing to give up sweets or any other food so an actual diet is out of the question. So I started going to the gym a few months back. Now that was one of my smart moves generally speaking. I needed the exercise and it makes me feel good. But I have another small problem, I got home at 11 after work and the gym and I was so freaking tired.Fast forward to a month ago and my sleep is a complete mess. I don't sleep well, but I also don't look tired (yeaeeee switching up your food). I added fruits and veggies in my "meal plans", they are not really plans because I just eat when I feel like it or when I see food I like. I still needed a little extra. With my very busy schedule fruits just weren't enough, lets face it you can't eat that much food in a day,or I can't. I was happy when Indigo Herbs wanted to collab with me. There was a why-not moment involved before I made up my mind since I'm not a nutritionist and also not a doctor and I don't do the whole healthy eating. I actually am no authority in anything that has to do with food unless you ask me if it's tasty. But I had nothing to lose by giving it a try right? They sent me the Super Greens Powder .

I have personally seen change in myself after I started using this powder as a supplement in my smoothies or fruit creams. I won't rant about how my skin is cleaner or I have so much energy, nothing so radical and magical. My acne has diminished but not disappeared, and that is ok. I do feel rested even though my sleeping hasn't improved. I do feel less tired to be more precise. On the extra plus side, my blood tests came back really good after years of borderline anemic results. So even if the superficial results are not clear enough, or are not drastically perfect, this product can guarantee results where it counts, on the nutritious end of things. This specific product is in powder form, green colour and can go in everything. I have even tried it in tea and coffee. Goes better in smoothies and fruit creams thought. It does dye everything green, as it is expected, so don't let that worry you if you try it.No matter what you put it into will turn green or greenish. It also has a strong taste and of the fruits I tried banana is the one that cancels that out well enough if that bothers anyone.
